My friend/bruddah Buz has had a website for his real estate business for years. People around the world would hit his site just to check out what www.surfingrealtor.com was all about and sometimes do some business when they found out how much they had in common with da guy. That's pretty much how I met Buz.

So, a few of us friends of Buz are minding our own business and Buz gets a hold of us to think over the possibility of starting a directory based on his old website. Most of us had been thinking about this idea for some time. Nobody had ponied up the money and given up normal living to really get a full-on directory for surfers going.

I wanted a way to contact people I'd surfed with decades ago. In some cases all I knew these guys by was their nicknames. If that's you and you're still on the planet, sign in the white pages, at least.

We all wanted a way to do business, anywhere on the globe, with people we might get to know as friends, people who had similar interests. Surfing is something at the heart of our friends' lives, too.

We're all dedicated to seeing this one fly. This wouldn't be possible not long ago. Help us make this directory happen. Get in the white pages and yellow pages and please tell your friends.
